Type the finished size. You get the board it is really cut from β the same figure Estifex puts on an estimate, worked out by the same rule.
The figure above is free and needs nothing from you. A cutting list is a document, so it needs somewhere to go β and we keep the address as a contact.
A blank of 630 × 100 × 23 does not come off a 630 × 100 × 23 board. It is sawn longer, ripped wider, and planed down from a thicker one. 23 mm looks like a 26 board β but with the 4 mm a planer takes it needs 27, and the board that is sold is 32. On one chair that single step is seventeen per cent of the oak.
This page gives you cubic metres, not money. What it costs is your rate, your defect grade and your overhead β and those belong in an estimate with a customer and a number on it.
The same one, from the same code. If this page and an estimate ever disagreed, one of them would be wrong β so there is only one rule, and it is this.
Because a price needs your rate, your defect grade, your overhead and your margin, and none of those belong on a public page. Cubic metres are a fact; a price is your business.
The sizes, no β that calculation happens in your browser and never leaves it. The e-mail address does, but only if you ask for the cutting list: we send it and keep the address as a contact. Write to hello@vivifex.com and it is deleted.
