A price calculator for a wood workshop. It reads a drawing, works out how much timber the part really takes, and lets you add everything else that goes into the price. It is not connected to any stock record — nothing here ever touches a pack, a consumption or an audit report.
Materials — what you buy and what it costs. Timber by the cubic metre, sheets, veneer and fabric by the square metre. Each timber also carries its own defects percentage. Positions — everything that is not material: machining by the minute, sanding by the hour, dowels by the piece, packaging, delivery.
Name the customer, the product and the quantity. Add a part and set the shape — type it, or drop the drawing in. Choose the material; the rate and the defects come with it. Add the positions. Set overhead, the prototype multiplier and the margin. Overhead is a percentage of materials plus extras. The prototype multiplier lifts the cost, before margin. Margin is a percentage of that cost. Change the order and every quote in the system is wrong by a different amount.
630 × 100 × 23 is bought as 700 × 110 × 32. A sheet keeps its thickness. Too thick is a question. The drawing wins where it states the blank.
The workshop name and the mark go on the sheet, inline, so the paper needs no second request. It is a list for the yard, not the offer the customer holds.
